Cultural Connectivity – Travel Photography & Writing by Don Silcock

We live in interesting times with a rate of change that has truly never been experienced before. Globalization of the world’s economies link countries in a way that would have seemed completely impossible just 10-15 years ago and the internet now allows us to connect with people in the remotest places as if they were just next door.

But as the world becomes a smaller place and cultural boundaries shrink, interest in the road less traveled becomes stronger & stronger. Not everybody wants an  homogenized package holiday and more & more people are searching for the unexpected and the adventurous.

The world is still full of interesting people to meet & places to see and the objective of this site is to document those that I personally encounter on my travels – I hope you enjoy reading about them as much I enjoy photographing & writing about them!
